I blush alot too and its embarrassing when it happens and of course, that makes me blush more! whenever i do everyone is like ur all red and they laugh. i can feel the heat in my face when it happensa and thats embarrassing, and then i blush more. When boys especially get around me or touch me i blush and they all laugh which again, makes me blush more and they are laughing at me and telling everyone. Everyone at school thinks that when i blush when a boy touches me, that i like them and I DONT! I just wish people wold be less immature and i WISH THE BLUSHIN WOULD STOP... PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I didn't know the blushing problems can be cured. I've been blushing every time I'm embarrassed or shy since I was a kid. I don't know but I think it's a psychological thing since I classify my self as timid person.

hey i have a blushing problem too, i get really red in my classes if i have a presentation or if i have to say something in spanish!!! thats the worst. i sometimes find that talking and laughing with a friend gives me a confidence boost, or if they laugh at me while im up or talking ill laugh too. I also sometimes just take deep breathes and say to myself you can do this and make sure i have no butterflies in my stomach. But the laughing before i go up helps the most. ive also heard of surgerys, theres an episode of greys anatomy where someone blushes a ton and they fix it, but there are risks, so talk to your parents, and friends and doctor first. i hope this helps!!!!

i get red allllll the time. and its seriously annoying. people point it out to me, and i think, "well im not even embarassed!" but they think i am!! i talk to my guy friends, and i just randomly start blushing, so they think i like them! now i just avoid my guy friends at all costs, and avoid looking people in the eyes because the thought that's always on my mind is AM I BLUSHING, DO THEY NOTICE?? and of course i am, or when i think that, which is every second, i do. i wish it would stop, because it just started being like this and it makes everything awkward. im gonna try the breathing things, and hopefully that works, but im SERIOUSLY considering that ETS surgery...and that's kinda sad since this is just some confidence thing that shouldn't even be a problem..!

I used to get red over almost anything since I was 13 years old. at first I thought that i was shy. Then seeing people's reactions to my "weird" redness I seriously thought that something was wrong with me and then I finally convinced myself that i was socially inadequate! it lasted more than 10 years. I am 27 years old now and I still have this problem, but I don't see it as embarrassing as before, a lot of people have far more serious issues and they seem okay with it so I learned not to obsess over this small detail, I can't be perfect and we all have issues. so to diminish the effect of blushing on my life; I started looking for things to be grateful for when it comes to blushing: I am lucky I am not a guy so blushing isn't that much of big deal.. in fact most guys think it's endearing and feminine. Then I looked for those anti-redness creams that people use mainly during winter time. It worked very well, and I stopped obsessing over getting red. I noticed that I was too dependent to those creams though. Then I found out that if I find a way to cool off quickly right before the blushing begins, I'd have more chances to stop it. so I drink water that I carry with me all the time, do breathing exercises...etc..I think the real cure is to stop caring about what people may think of me ( when blushing) by developing stronger self confidence and focusing on living my life to the fullest! after all we never know when death will come. I also learned that people don't really care if I blush or not, they may think that it's funny for few moments then they get occupied with their own lives and issues!

this used to happen to me several times a day. I actually quit a good job because it made me so unhappy and self-conscious about myself. It absolutely destroyed my self-confidence.

But now I'm pretty much cured :)

Thank you to the person who commented just before me. I think that will really help me! I am ginger and pale so it is too obvious when I blush. It's even worse when teachers point it out. But that saounds like a plan for me! Thank you. x
