Is that possible?

Surprisingly, the answer is yes. With the proviso that you shouldn’t be a perfectionist and that you don’t let yourself suffer from too much analysis.

I’ve read quite a few different products that claim to be able to get your ebook written and published in record time but this is the first one I’ve felt confident enough to actually review.

You’ve probably come across this kind of promise before – computing books that promise you’ll learn scary things like PHP in 24 hours or language books that claim you’ll speak French in a week. In most cases the reality is “dream on”. So it’s refreshing to read something that is actually realistic.

Let’s see what you need to do:

Day 1 is research. The book goes into depth about what to look for in terms of number of internet searches, how much competition you should have and more. The recommended tools for checking into this are all free and most are ones I’ve used for research in the past, although a couple of the methods were new to me. Ideally you should research several topics rather than dive straight in with the first idea that takes your fancy. If that’s the case with you, there’s an excellent way to “tie break” between them. All in all, depending on how much keyword research you’ve done before, you should be able to complete day 1 in an hour or two.

Day 2 is where your book starts to take shape. Most authors dread staring at a blank sheet of paper or computer screen and this outlining technique will get over that completely. The outline is key to getting your ebook written fast and involves splitting your prospective ebook first into chapters and then smaller chunks and then even smaller chunks. Depending on how creative you’ve feeling, the outline process will take a few hours but I found my mind was already starting to write an ebook inside my head as I did this part of the process.

Day 3 is set to be a long day. You’ll actually be writing the first draft of your ebook today. Estimated time for this is around 7 hours if you’re aiming for a typical 50 page ebook. The good news is that this won’t be a marathon session typing away until your fingers wear away. Instead you’ll be doing the writing in short bursts so that you’ll always be enthusiastic. If you’re the kind of person who finds days like Sundays boring, aim to make your day 3 a Sunday and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how far you get. Alternatively you could split day 3 into a few smaller sessions. Or you could “cheat” and use a program such as Dragon Naturally Speaking to type your book for you – this isn’t suggested in the book and personally I find programs like Dragon hold me back but a lot of people swear by them. If you don’t like typing it’s a great way to go. And if you’ve got a Windows Vista or Windows 7, you don’t even need to splash out on Dragon – there’s speech recognition software built in.

Day 4 is editing your book. Nick Daws has an interesting take on this and if you like everything to be 100% perfect you’ll almost certainly disagree. But remember that almost nothing is perfect and you can always go back and re-edit later when you’ve got some sales – this could even be a selling point by offering “free upgrades”. The method outlined is one I’ve not come across before but works well and means that you shouldn’t spend more than a few hours editing and polishing your ebook ready for sale.

Day 5 is easy. If you go about it the way that the book suggests, it will take you less than an hour to turn your book into one that’s ready to publish in PDF format (pretty much industry standard for any report on the web). Or you could download a copy of Open Office and use the “print to PDF” option to create your ebook in about the time it takes to read this paragraph. That’s how I do it for any ebooks I create and it works great with hyperlinks that work fine first time.

Day 6 goes through where to publish your ebook, including full instructions for the preferred method if you’re going to publish in electronic form only. Allow about an hour at most to complete day 6.

Day 7 is all about creating your sales letter. This is another part that a lot of people (myself included) dread. Nick Daws has a solid, six step approach that will help you get over any fear you may have of writing a sales letter. He also points you in the direction of some good sales pages that you can model – remember to only do this with your wallet safely locked in another room and your Paypal password blanked from your mind! You’re only using these as models, not as things to buy. So long as you’re not a perfectionist, day 7 should take no more than a few hours.

Day 8 involves setting your sales page up. There are quite a few different options here. Another way, not suggested by Nick, would be Word’s option of  “Save as web page”. Web purists will probably hate me for even suggesting that but it works. Even better would be to use a WordPress blog and the free sales theme available from WordPress Sales Letter Theme. I’m getting lazier nowadays with my web design and to my mind, WordPress is the easiest way to publish content and themes like that take all the hassle of setting up professional looking sales pages. Day 8 also covers registering your domain name and getting hosting. Nick suggests getting your domain name and hosting from the same supplier but I don’t agree with that. Personally, nowadays, I get near enough all my names from Namecheap and my hosting from Hostgator.  Your choice and not a showstopper but those are who I’d go with. There’s also some testing needed on day 8 so depending on how confident you are with the technical stuff, allow anything from 1 to 4 hours to get this sorted. Or find a local web savvy teenager to help you with this stage.

Day 9 is when the fun starts: promoting your brand new ebook. The book covers the two main ways of launching your new ebook and pushes one of those as better for most people, especially if it’s your first project. Sensible advice and if you follow all of it you’ll be set for a good amount of traffic coming to your site. How much time you should devote for promotion is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string but I’d allow several hours at least for this part. The good news is that the more time you spend here, the more sales you’re likely to make.

Day 10 covers getting other people to sell your ebook for you. These are usually called affiliates. The book covers what to pay affiliates (although Nick’s suggested percentage is on the low side to my mind), how to attract them in the first place, getting joint venture partners and several other ways to get your new ebook up and selling. A bit like day 9, the more time you spend on this the higher your rewards are likely to be.

Overall verdict

The 10 day ebook is a comprehensive guide to writing, compiling and selling an ebook. It also comes with a brave guarantee: so long as you follow through on the process shown, the publishers guarantee that you’ll make at least $1,000 a month from your first ebook. Of course this means that you have to get off your backside and actually do something but that’s the same as anything in life. What it does mean is that there’s no real downside so long as you actually go through with things: if following the course doesn’t get you an ebook that earns real money, you get a refund.

10 days is perfectly achievable. Most of those days aren’t full, 8 hour, working days. And if it took you a bit longer you should still be able to get your new ebook written and promoted within a handful of weeks, even if you only spend a couple of hours a day at it. Once it’s written and promoted, it has the potential to earn money with next to no effort for months and years which has got to be good.

The Truth About Supplements is a well informed, well researched report on supplements by a fitness instructor called Mark Ottobre. He has seen first hand which supplements work with your body building and which work against it.

The focus of the report is on bodybuilding but if you take any health supplements – such as amino acid supplements – then it’s an eye opening read. There’s a sample chapter available for free so that you can check both the style and the range of information. The free chapter goes into depth on protein supplements and lists out both essential and non-essential amino acids that you may well have encountered on an ingredients list and wondered what they were.

Acne can strike at any age. When it attacks, it’s usually just before a date or an important meeting.

So what can you do to get rid of acne quick?

• Stop popping your zits! Tempting as this is, it only makes things worse. It can also leave permanent acne scars.
• Use a mild soap when you wash. Preferably a natural soap that really will be gentle on your skin.
• Exfoliate regularly. You can use natural exfoliants – ground walnut shells work a treat – or shop-bought exfoliants. Either way, don’t over-do it.
• Use a skin toner to help get rid of the bacteria that gather in the pores of your skin.

There’s a lot of information in this free report. Much more than I’ve come across in a lot of paid-for reports.

For instance, the section on keyword research tells you about the main problem with every single keyword tool on the market – this applies to paid-for tools like Wordtracker as well as free tools like the Google keyword tool. It’s blindingly obvious once you read it but isn’t discussed much (if at all) elsewhere.

Everything is explained clearly and there’s also some light relief along the way with the clearly marked “Cow Rants” which are used to debunk some of the comments you’re likely to get when you follow some of these methods rather than the conventional ones that are taught elsewhere.

Just remember that you’re learning this direct from one of the world’s most successful bloggers in a report that’s jargon free and refreshingly free from affiliate links (there are some but their purchase isn’t essential to getting the best from the report – they’re optional extras).

The advice in this report is excellent. If you’re just starting out as an internet marketer, you’ll cut your learning curve dramatically. If you’ve been round the block but profits are still obstinately avoiding you, chances are you’ll learn why and put yourself on course to actually earning money for a change.

If you’ve been around the internet marketing arena for any length of time, you’ll know there is a lot of hype. It kind of goes with the territory.

Zero Cost Profits certainly sounds like hype at first glance. Your taken to a video which starts with its creator (Matt Benwell) drinking a pint of Guinness. There’s also a bold claim that Mattt used this very system to generate $42,152.97 profit in just 5 months. Which is definitely intriguing.

So is Zero Cost Profits hype or truth? Can a real person (rather than an internet “guru” really make that kind of money without any expenses other than time?

If you follow Matt’s plan, I’d say the answer is definitely “yes”.

Of course, a large quantity of people will fall by the wayside, attracted by the bright lights of instant profits with no effort – the internet marketing equivalent of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

What you get is a well explained blueprint. You can see from the chapter headings that it’s not full of fluff and it’s easy to read in one sitting to get the hang of what you’ll need to do.

Of course, reading is only the first part of the job. You’ll then need to take action.

Matt supplies a bonus with keyword research for 12 different niches.

I’d suggest that you use this as a guideline rather than a shortcut.

It’s an excellent introduction to the kind of markets that you could consider and the wealth of “long tail” keywords associated with these markets. But it’s also been used as a giveaway which means that a lot of people are going to be using Matt’s system in these tight markets, so they’d be well worth avoiding. Which leaves thousands and thousands of other possible markets instead.

The goal of Zero Cost Profits is for you to dominate the search engine results. But only for a very small subsection of results – buying keywords for your chosen products.

When you follow this through, it’s perfectly possible for you to have most of the top ten results to yourself.

Why?

Because almost no-one targets low volume buyer keywords seriously.

And because you’ll be using lots of zero cost websites to put up your pages.

But is it worth doing this?

Definitely yes.

If you’ve ever seriously researched a product on the internet – whether it’s your next sat nav, television or whatever – chances are you’ve encountered some sites following Matt’s ideas.

You’ll have seen the price comparison sites but you’ll also have found articles and review sites about the product you’re interested in.

And because you’re about to spend real money out of your own pocket, you’ll likely have read some or all of these.

When you follow the Zero Cost Profits system those sites can be yours.

And you can sit in the middle and collect your commission when you suggest well known places like Amazon or selected online retailers as the best place to buy.

You’re also well placed for the after-purchase sales if you choose your items well.

Certain markets lend themselves better than others to selling “how to” guides to recent purchasers. A cook book for the new energy saving slow cooker, making use of cheaper cuts of meat. A how-to-use-it guide for that complicated software product. A where to visit guide so you can plug in the destination into your shiny new sat nav. You get the idea.

Of course, building your sites is only part of the puzzle that Matt’s report solves.

Getting traffic to them is the other part and this is well explained. Even the best ways of getting traffic from places like Twitter as well as other free traffic sources.

Is it really zero cost?

Well, not quite. After all, the Zero Cost Profits report itself costs money. But all the sites and tools mentioned are free or – at worst – have a free option available.

Which means that you won’t get locked into lots of extra expenditure after you invest a few dollars into the Zero Cost Profits report.

Verdict

Zero Cost Profits does what it says on the tin. It’s definitely recommended and is a refreshing change from a lot of the other over-hyped products available.

It’s suitable for internet novices or people who’ve been around online and found actually earningmoney more difficult than it’s initially made out to be.

It’s replicatable – it’s not a one trick pony. Chances are that if you pick your micro niches wisely, you’ll never encounter any serious competition because your focus is so narrow.

And it is here to stay. Sure the sites used may change over time but the actual process isn’t new, just this particular “twist”. The methods will be as good in a year’s time as they are now. And you won’t have to spend an arm and a leg following them.

Parking spaces can be difficult to find, especially in larger towns and cities.

What’s even more frustrating is that a lot of houses have empty driveways during the day as the owner has driven their car to work.

Which is where the web comes into its own – matching up empty parking spaces with people hunting for a parking space on a regular basis.

I should have realized the potential for this ages ago – friends often ask to park on my driveway while they shop or visit the hospital or do other things around town – but like most blindlingly obvious things I missed this completely.

However, the penny finally dropped and I recently decided to let out a vacant parking space.

I found two services, one of which specializes in  UK parking spaces and the other which covers parking spaces worldwide.

Both allow you to put up an parking space advert free of charge. And both will charge the owner of the space am ongoing “finders fee” of 15%. A bit like property letting agents, except the fee is higher.

It’s easy to set up an advert with both companies.

The UK based company, Parklet, allows you to put an advert up for either a daily space or a longer term (monthly) rental. You can select from two different types of monthly rental – weekdays or whole months.

The advert is then sent off for approval and for Parklet to suggest a recommended rent. Until that happens, your advert doesn’t show up.

Parklet also act as middlemen – issuing a parking permit, checking that the car wanting to park is insured and handling payments.

If you’ve got a lot of parking spaces to look after , this service is well worth having as it takes care of most of the boring administration.

The other company, ParkAtMyHouse, is a lot less “control freak” in nature. You set your own price and the advert goes live immediately. There’s also much more flexibility on pricing – you can price your space by the hour, day, week, month, year or “event”.

This last option would be useful if your area fills up when special events happen. Maybe there’s a local exhibition centre, a golf tournament or (like my home town) horse racing.

Locally someone is renting out two spaces by the day on their drive if there’s a horse racing meeting on, someone else is renting out their drive by the hour when there’s a football match playing. This flexibility is excellent.

Of course, since you only pay if your available space is let, it’s worth registering with both sites and seeing who attracts the business for you.

If you’re searching for a parking space, I think you’ll prefer ParkAtMyHouse. You enter your location and the available spaces are clearly marked on a map, with a letter to easily identify each available space.

On both sites, it’s then a simple matter of tapping in your contact details and letting the site send them on to the parking space owner.

Renting out a spare parking space most likely won’t make your fortune but it will contribute to the cost of your motoring.

My preference as a user is definitely the ParkAtMyHouse site. It’s more flexible and the web site navigation is better.

The 30 Day Wealth System claims it will show you how Rick Thomas went from being a worker in a fiberglass factory to someone who earned a 6 figure income in under 6 months.

Of course, lots of products make this kind of claim. And often you’re left thinking that the only reason the product owner made his money was by telling people like you and me how they did this. A bit like the old snake oil salesmen from days gone by, where the salesman’s wallet was cured rather more often than the disease.

So, does the 30 Day Wealth System live up to the hype or should you keep your wallet firmly under lock and key?

This product is aimed fair and square at people who relatively new to internet marketing but have yet to actually make any money from it.

If you’ve been in internet marketing for a while now and have already got one or more successful products of your own, this maybe isn’t for you. Although, that said, I found the way that Rick presents the information was excellent, so it is probably worth the price just to be able to model how he does it.

It’s one of the best and most accessible presentations I’ve seen.

Most products follow the idea of using standard PDF ebook that you download, read a few pages of and then “put down” somewhere on your hard drive, never to return.

This system has a complete membership area with each stage of the process clearly explained – I’ve included an image of part of the navigation so you can see how it works.

This makes it really easy to keep track of things and go back to refresh your memory on anything that needs this.

The focus of the system is creating and promoting your own product.

Don’t panic about this – like everything else, you’re given a step by step process on how to come up with an excellent product, even if you’re a total novice.

The explanation of how to do this is one of the clearest I’ve seen in a while. And if you’re stuck for ideas, you’re also given a list of some of the hotter topic areas on the web.

If you’re still stuck, there are 50 starter products included as well. You wouldn’t want to use them as your final product but they’ll give your research a kick start if one or more of them covers a topic you want to promote.

Almost every section has a video talking you through what’s covered and showing you what to do where necessary. If you learn well from listening to information and watching videos, this is excellent. If you prefer to read things then this is covered as well – near enough all the information in the video is written on the page below it.

This is in marked contrast to a lot of recent products where you’re forced to watch the video as that’s the only way the information is delivered.

Top marks for including both videos and written information so you can choose how to learn.

Verdict

30 Day Wealth System is professionally presented and the information is good quality.

Creating your own product isn’t as scary as your first thoughts might lead you to believe and how to do this is handled well. As is how to create your sales page and every other stage in the process.

Will you earn $30,000 in 30 days?

Well, to a large extent that’s up to you. If all you do is buy it and read some (or even most) of the information then not much will happen.

But if you’re capable of following the simple steps presented here, then there’s every chance that you can get similar results.

And if you already have your own product, this is worth buying just to see how it should be presented.
