Building A Business Not A Blog is a free report from a marketer called John Cow.

If you’re used to free reports being a handful of pages that tell you next to nothing and just expect you to buy things, this is a refreshing change.

Building A Business Not A Blog is a refreshing change – it’s written by one of the most viewed and most profitable bloggers around – and you’re getting this information straight from the horse’s mouth.

Here’s a shortened version of the table of contents with just the main headings:

Let’s Gets Started –> Putting First Things First

The Big Picture

Narrowing Your Focus

Keyword Research

Finding the Right Affiliate Product

“SHOW ME THE MONEY!” Keywords

Content Creation Madness

Start Up the Diamond Digger

Get Your Blog Up

Link Bait, Content and Legal Stuff

Start Posting Your Content

Initial On-Page Optimization with a Dash of Feedburner and Aweber

Measure Twice Cut Once

Congratulations… We Are Ready For PROMOTING!!!!

Keyword Research – Shiny Diamonds Everywhere

Long Term Maintenance

Recommended Resources

There’s a lot of information in this free report. Much more than I’ve come across in a lot of paid-for reports.

For instance, the section on keyword research tells you about the main problem with every single keyword tool on the market – this applies to paid-for tools like Wordtracker as well as free tools like the Google keyword tool. It’s blindingly obvious once you read it but isn’t discussed much (if at all) elsewhere.

Everything is explained clearly and there’s also some light relief along the way with the clearly marked “Cow Rants” which are used to debunk some of the comments you’re likely to get when you follow some of these methods rather than the conventional ones that are taught elsewhere.

Just remember that you’re learning this direct from one of the world’s most successful bloggers in a report that’s jargon free and refreshingly free from affiliate links (there are some but their purchase isn’t essential to getting the best from the report – they’re optional extras).

The advice in this report is excellent. If you’re just starting out as an internet marketer, you’ll cut your learning curve dramatically. If you’ve been round the block but profits are still obstinately avoiding you, chances are you’ll learn why and put yourself on course to actually earning money for a change.

All for no cost.

Anyway, enough of me rambling.

Building A Business Not A Blog would be highly recommended if it came with a price tag of $47.

At no cost, it should be a no brainer.

Just make sure that you actually treat it as if it was paid information.

Read it and act on the advice.
